REPAIRS

I agree that the description of the item(s) listed is correct, and I accept the following terms. This store, including its employees, accepts no responsibility for condition or identification of jewelry or stones upon receipt. Many stone treatments such as fracture filling, laser drilling, and other clarity or color enhancements may be undetectable to the eye. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Rees Jewelry of these pre-existing conditions. We use special care in the handling and setting of all gemstones but cannot be responsible for damage attributed to any unstable enhancement processes or for pressure or heat-sensitive stone or stones with fractures, as there is an inherent risk in handling and setting them. Rees Jewelry is not responsible for stones that may be damaged in setting or repair work due to these unknown conditions. A jeweler or other representative of Rees Jewelry may determine additional information or work needed after further inspection. You will be contacted before work begins regarding any changes or additional charges. Not responsible for items left over 90 days.

Jewelry Warranty on New Purchases

Rees Jewelry LLC provides a warranty on all your jewelry purchased from Rees Jewelry LLC. This warranty covers manufacturers defects in material or workmanship, but it does not cover neglect or abuse. The periodic inspection of your jewelry purchase is the best way to safeguard against potential problems. Rees Jewelry LLC gladly provides free inspection of all your jewelry. Regular upkeep of your jewelry is required to maintain your warranty. This includes paying for any normal repairs required due to wear, damage, or abuse. It is up to the discretion of Rees Jewelry to determine the cause of wear or damage.

Warranty Exceptions & Exclusions

The Rees Jewelry LLC warranty does NOT cover the following items:
1. Any damage to your jewelry purchases due to negligence or abuse. (For Example: If a stone is lost due to bent, damaged, or worn-out prongs, Rees Jewelry LLC is not responsible for the replacement of the stone or the re-tipping of the prongs. If the jewelry was neglected and abused, the warranty becomes void.)
2. If another jeweler performs any repair work on an item purchased from Rees Jewelry LLC, we will not be held responsible for any loss or defect and the warranty becomes null and void.
3. The loss of a center stone, such as a diamond, is not covered under the Rees Jewelry LLC warranty. Center stone loss may be covered under your Homeowners insurance policy. Please note that a separate insurance rider may be required to fully cover all of your fine jewelry pieces. Please contact your insurance company for more information regarding your insurance policy limits and requirements. There are several insurance companies that specialize in protecting your jewelry assets. Rees Jewelry LLC recommends Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company.
